Exhibition 2 by Aditya

April 22, 2010

The progress in my presentation is going really well as we already started sticking the economy, nature, society and well-being things on but we need more pictures. The inside is going to much harder and it will take us lots of time so we also have to start managing our time well.

We have achieved sticking what we are going to talk about and the road scene. We will now start putting the other things like some trees, pollution and the other things we were supposed to put.

Ms. Dawn and Mr. Chris have helped us already. The ideas given by Ms. Dawn are really good but they are extremely hard to work on. So our group is thinking of considering only some of the ideas.

The things that have caused us difficulty are that first we weren’t able to decide that do we want to make it 2D or 3D. Then our group argued a lot on small things. Sometimes the whole group went to check a room or for card boards. Our group shouldn’t have done that but only 2 people should have gone.

My plans for the next few days is to finish the second box. If we will have more time then we will make something like a video, prezi or something.

My group needs help with the second box as we are going to start that soon. But I think my group can sort that out ourselves.

Homework for Monday 18/1/09

January 18, 2010

Today you worked in groups to make lists of hints on ‘How to be Organised at School’. Your homework this afternoon is to do a Blog Posting addressing the following points. Use complete and interesting sentences to give your answer in a new Blog Posting  – remember to include your name in the title somewhere.

Copy and past these questions into you posting to make it easier. Put your answers in between the questions. Be ready to share and discuss your responses in class tomorrow:

  • How did your group work as a team to discuss and organise how you will allocate people to look at the different resources.
  •  Did your group do this fairly so you would all finish at around the same time.
  • Did your group organise how all members of the group would collect the information so that it could be shared with the group. What tools did you use?(if any)
  • When the entire group had collected their information, did you discuss how you were going to share the information?
  • How did you come up with your list?
  • How did your instruction sheet help you to achieve your goal?
  • Do you think that your team worked in an organised manner? Why/Why not?
  • What did this activity help you to understand about organisation?

How I am organised By georgia

January 14, 2010

I organised my room in some areas and I can find things easier, so I don’t have to look through  all my drawers to find a piece of paper. I think it’s inportant to be organised, and when your  organised than you can be successful. If you keep your things organised it will be easy to find and you don’t need to organise it any more till it gets messy. My mum helped me to organise my room.

What is the connection of taking responsibility and being organised?

I think when you are taking responsibility you are being organised.

How might this change throughout a person’s lifetime?

I think this might change because as you get older you take on more responsibility. When your a baby you dont have so many responsibility but that changes when you get older.

Georgia’s Organised provocation

January 13, 2010

You can’t learn to be organised-You’re born that way.

I partly agree with this because for some people it’s easy and some people think it’s hard and some people just can’t stop cleaning up there things because it’s normal for them. Some people think it’s normal to be disorganised. So it’s ok if your messy or not.

There is no link between organised and being successful

I partly agree with this Provocation because some people can be successful without being organised. But there is only a tiny amount of people are successful. but it will be easyer to be organised and be successful.
